With continual inquiries for larger Mid-pilothouse designs we have developed this 21.7m vessel, representing the largest to date in the Mid Pilothouse range and is a further development on this popular design.
With this design it has been possible to incorporate a full width master stateroom below the main saloon amidships which is increasing in popularity among vessels of this size.
The standard layout features accommodation for 6 in three separate cabins. The master has its own dedicated access away from the guest accommodation keeping this area completely private.
Frd arrangement has a central Island berth cabin with ensuite and a twin berth cabin to stb. Other internal arrangements are also available.
The pilothouse has both internal access from the main saloon and external access via the cockpit.
The galley has been positioned aft and to port so as to service both the main dinning adjacent and the el-fresco dinette in the cockpit via the electrically operated window in the bulkhead.
The hull runs our standard “silent chines” that eliminate chine slap at rest allowing all on board to have a peaceful night sleep yet giving an exceptionally dry and comfortable ride while under way.
Being constructed from epoxy, wood composite it will have a moderate displacement of 38,000kgs. As with this vessels slightly smaller sisters, ocean passages to the Pacific Islands would be easily achieved from the 8000L fuel capacity, which is divided into primary and delivery tanks to negate the need for bladders
The power requirements to give 20-25knt cruise speeds will be from twin 1200hp.
For higher performance twin 1600hp would be available. Propellers are to run in shallow tunnels to decrease shaft angle and increase efficiency and performance.
