An existing client who owned the 17m Sedan Highlander approached us to design this new vessel to be able to accommodate his extended family. The brief was for large living spaces, comfortable accommodation for 12 but with separation. Fuel efficient with modest horse power and an 18kt cruise. Styling to be stately and ship like. Large fuel capacity for lengthy periods away from home port.
To fulfil this criterion we chose a large volume medium dead-rise warped planing hull form with plenty of reserve buoyance to allow it to plane efficiently with minimum hp. The hull also incorporates our silent chine technology. The accommodation has been achieved by placing twin staterooms with ensuites below the saloon and bunk cabins frd for grandchildren, the master stateroom is on the saloon level with the spacious pilothouse above.
While the large tender is stowed on the boat deck, aft of the pilothouse, a smaller tender is garaged under the cockpit sole accessed from the landing platform.
