Designed for an experienced yachtsman, the brief called for a highly capable vessel for extended range coastal cruising including a New Zealand circumnavigation. Stress free cruising with family or just a couple for long periods away, ease of handling in adverse conditions, quiet and economical running , a high degree of system redundancy , and a timeless design style were key requirements.
The resultant design took a ‘small ship’ approach to performance and specification and resulted in a vessel that is admired wherever she goes.
Power comes from large capacity Scania diesels working together with a low vibration drive train design. The Hull form blends a fine entry developing aft to moderate deadrise. The three cabin layout, teak interior was crafted by the talented team at Alan Tongs Boatbuilders.
